WordPress send a summary of stats on this blog. Ossjay is a blog minnow, having nearly 6,200 viewers in 2015. The most popular posts are those about our Commons.
It would be great if the Welsh Government were to establish a right to ride and drive horses on all commons.
Anything about Eglwysilan Common, Coity Wallia or the open stretches of sand and hillside on Morfa Beach and Kilvey Hill attract viewers. Elgwysilan heads the searches and I suspect may continue to do so in 2016 after recent reports of possible unauthorised fencing and obstructions.
International Women’s Day art exhibitions were well viewed, but, generally, my “arty” blogs are less popular than footpath inspections or countryside. I like doing both and enjoyed combining the two in “Art in the stables” after a day out drawing at South Wales Equestrian Centre.
I published 45 posts in 2015. Viewers came from 36 different countries – most from UK, with about 400 from USA, smaller numbers from Europe, Oceania and Latin America, and tiny numbers from other countries.
I hope that people enjoy the mix of photos and my observations.
