Yes, it is another art exhibition, and I liked it. Jacqueline Alkema has curated this, with artists she enjoyed bringing together for a boundary-pushing show. Catch it quick – it is finishing on Saturday 21st March.
Jacqueline is pushing boundaries in eau-de-nil very nicely and keeping Cardiff MADE deservedly busy.
Leona Jones’ clever and rewarding digital transforming field-words was great. Penny Hallas brings surreal freshness. Or scariness if it worries you.
Kay Keogh has intriguing inner spaces: Lydia Spurrier-Dawes makes disturbing use of needlework and football chants, knitting and a shag pile.
There is much going on in Sheila Vyas’ fantastic meeting of formal and imagination.
Lots of essences in a modern context.
There’s one more art exhibition and then I’m going to blog about my horse again.
