Home journey from Aberdulais

We left Aberdulais Tinworks and Falls, and the Green Routines exhibit there, travelling back along the A465 which rises gradually up through Glyneath.  The low sun and evening light caught the delicate turbines along the hilltops.

At Hirwaun, we took the road to Treherbert: this passes by the famous Tower Colliery operations – I caught the moon over one such.

Driver Mike wasn’t slowing, so the photos are rushed views.

Looking back over to the west, the light and dust produced intriguing shades, and then we were going down, past Blaencwm and Treorchy towards Pontypridd and home.
